Frequently
Asked.
What is the DOMS operations diagnostic?
It is a free 15-statement self-assessment covering five areas where growing businesses commonly stall: documented process, ownership and handoffs, measurement, capacity and bottlenecks, and systems and tools. It scores out of 30 and shows which area to address first.
Do I have to give my email to see my score?
No. The score, the banded result and the area-by-area breakdown all appear on the page as soon as you finish. An email is only asked for afterwards, if you want the newsletter that explains how businesses fix each area.
How long does the assessment take?
About four minutes. There are 15 statements grouped into five areas of three, and each one is answered No, Partly or Yes. Your score, your band and the area-by-area breakdown all appear on the page as soon as you answer the last statement.
What do the score bands mean?
A score of 13 or below means the business runs on its people rather than its systems. Between 14 and 22 the fundamentals are in place but concentrated in a few people or habits. Above 22, operations are structured and the constraint is usually pricing or revenue mix rather than execution.
